Rev John Kimball
Supt. of Schools.

Dear Sir,

I learn that you have a great many Schools in your charge and desire to employ teachers for the Summer. So as I desire to teach School during the time of vacation, I make an application to you for employment as a teacher under your patronage. For information of my ability to teach you can apply to my teacher Rev. S. B. Gregory. I shall be ready at any time Please appoint as soon as you can.

Respectfully your humble servant.
