Rev. John Kimball

Dear Sir,

I have succeeded in what we were talking about at Captain Lawrence's about the School at Chaptico. I have been up their. I asked them if they thought that they could get up a school their. The first I asked them how many Scholars could be gotten their; the word was about 60 regular attendants.
Second I asked them if they would bord a teacher; they said yes. I think that I can soon get a School house put up their, I think I can secure the land, And I will see to putting the house up. They want a School started as quick as they can. I am going to hold a meeting there on the 12th of September, for the purpose of making arrangements for putting up the School house. They want to open School in the Church till the School house is built.

Our School is getting along very well. We have a good teacher here, and have a good School: everything going on well here. We would like to keep him through the Winter if we could.

They want to get a School at Charlott Hall if they can get aid from you. They are trying to get the land for it. Please answer before the 12th of September.

Yours Respectfully.
