dear Sir,

I have just received a letter from Moses Brooks in Charles Co. Md. stating that he would return those books to you immediately viz, those which I ordered before getting sick, and coming home.  I left there on the 2d of August, having taught six weeks.  I received one month's twenty dollars, from the Rev. E. F. Hatfield.
