the purposes and direction of the Organization for public distribution and maintain a history of minority architects which will document the existence of same. In general terms, this office is the Public Relations arm of the Organization.

This department will further be responsible, in concert with other organizational officials seek to approve Chapter membership as well as National policy and program.

To form a confederation of existing and proposed local organizations of minority architects. This department will act to assemble and keep up-dated membership rosters, by region; to maintain rosters of practitioners, consultants, etc., to maintain rosters of member local organizations; to maintain a roster, by region, of resource persons for lectures and other activities of interest to the Student Affairs Committee; to maintain liaison with community activity on a regional basis to feed into the other interested departments for any action necessary to assist local organizations in their local activities.

2. Professional Development:

To encourage the establishment of coalitions of member firms and individuals into coordinate, associate and joint venture relationships where such relationships can advance their professional development; to form an effective source of motivation and inspiration for minority youth and to maintain an active role in the education of new architects.
