States in answers to letter of 27th inst. that the white people of that vicinity will not tolerate a white man as teacher of colored children, that it would be impossible for one to remain and withstand the prejudices which would be brought to bear against him.- States that he has seen Mr. [[underlined]] Geo. Bolling, [[/underlined]] and that they both agree and advise that if a colored teacher cannot be procured none had best be sent at present
