Dear Sir,
I write you in behalf of Miss Judah Wakefield who desires to know whether the Bureau can furnish transportation for her Brother "Lee Wakefield" (colored) who is connected the commissary in Charleston, South Carolina, un Maj. T.B. Hunt.  He says in his last letter that the Maj. or Colonel has gone off and left him without money.  He desires to come to this place, for he says there is no work there and the times are hard.
