Dear Sir, I write to make some inquiries in regard to the night school.  Last year so little was charged both for day & night school that nothing could be saved over & above the board to defray any incidental expenses that might occur.  It is my desire this year to make the charge on the days scholars sufficient to pay the board & devote the night school fund [[strikethrough]] to [[/strikethrough]] either to defraying the debt ^already on the school-house, or toward finishing it.
