Yours of the 13th is before me & I am sorry to say that just at present we do not feel able to engage any more teachers, especially as the Small number of pupils in several of our country schools, during the past month, renders it impossible for us to apply for the rental money from the Bureau. Perhaps about the first of January we may be able to do something for the places you speak of.

Can you find out where George & Sebastien Payne are? Not one word have we heard
