Revd John Kimball

Dear Sir,

I have just seen Mr [[strikethrough]] Cole [[/strikethrough]] Core, in regard to the lumber for the school house for the colored people at Federalsburg Maryland, he said you were under the impression that it was Winter season, the inclemency of the weather would prevent the building of the House, you would not send the lumber yet.

Such is not the fact, at this Season of the year, many are out of employment, and are now ready to go to work and build the House. Send the lumber & I will see the work is don.

Respectfully Yours
