States that he has been informed that several teachers in the employ of the Bureau receive a larger salary than himself:  that the former teacher of his school received $50.00 per month:  that Miss [[underlined]] Delie [[?]] [[/underlined]] receives $25.00 per month with a school of only 40 pupils, while he receives but $20.00 and has a school of over 90 pupils:  that he is making his best efforts for the interests of his school and thinks his salary should be increased.

Respectfully forwarded.  I recommend that Mr. Douglas, laborer (Educational) be paid $25.00 per month from the 1st of February.
