States that his school is doing exceedingly well and improveing every day - that as regards good order and discipline, attention and literary progress punctuality &c. his school is not to be excelled by any other: - that the bad roads have prevented many from coming regularly: - that very few were able to attend the night school: - that he tried hard to keep it up but discontinued it about two weeks ago by the advice of the Trustees.
 
Requests that his salary may be paid to his friend Mr. [[underlined]] C. S Lewis [[/underlined]], or sent to him by mail
