Hokeah - on being asked if he felt the reds on our wall were satisfactory & Richard's figures right in color - studied them for a time from the back of the room & agreed something was wrong, and expressed it by moving his hands back & forth before his eyes & He hit it squarely - They were jumpy. So R. [[strikeout]] was advised to [[strikeout]] is using yellow & white in his reds to bring them in better harmony - It is continually annoying to have the background so yellow - but we can make the other things fit to it if we persevere - Hokeah is painting his sun symbol in the middle panel, and Miguel his plumed serpent & Romando a lovely deer - We expect the sun symbol to do wonders for the room - and hope we can [[?]] use the [[insert]] other [[insert]] abstracts near by in a way to discern the real possibilities of this kind of decoration - that they may open the eyes of all. 
Hokeah & others are dancing tonight for a crowd of Southern boys & girls. H. is a brilliant dancer - I said to his friend Riley - H. should rest to be fresh for his dancing - "Oh he never stops so long as he can paint" - Later to Hokeah I suggested it was past stopping time and his dances coming - "Me - I am a tough Indian" he [[?]]
