We were mercifully prevented from seeing more than a foot of the asbestos curtain. All this burst on our sight and we laughed till tears were in our eyes - "What are you laughing at" the boys enquired, for no doubt the things seemed not so much worse to them than most of our curious art. We all discussed plans, but so much would need to be done that we felt a little faint and agreed to leave the whole matter till Mr. Faris comes - as indeed we must!

Yesterday Elizabeth Proctor gave a little tea in honor of my new fresco in her garden and John Meem was there and says the panel is "a knockout" - he confided he has a commission for me - a fresco for Mrs Simms - (Ruth Hanna McCormick) in the house he is building for them in Albuquerque -
