COMMUNITY SERVICE
College:   Class President 1977 - 1982
Responsible for class organization, fund raising and representations at the college. Efforts have doubled class Alumni Fund contributions in four years. Presently involved in achieving a 250% increase for 1982 and a Capital Fund Raising Campaign of five times the previous result.
Class Officers Committee - 1982
Responsible for overseeing all non-fund raising functions of the Class Officers.
Mead Art Museum, Amherst, Mass.: Member Executive Committee
Educational museum with growing collections in various fields.
Johnson C. Smith Seminary: Member Board of Trustees and Finance Committee
Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Ga.
Weston Board of Education: Member Long Range Planning Committee
Involved in establishing new methods to cope with stringent budgets and rebellious taxpayers. Efforts being directed toward establishing a "Weston Foundation" which can, through private sources and foundations, provide funds to establish and continue programs which would otherwise be unavailable to the public education sytem.
