The most pressing and immediate need is a set of boxes, to place the separate Specimens in after they have been cleaned and card-catalouged, and but little satisfactory work can be accomplished or progress made until these are obtained.

The following list of boxes has been carefully prepared and here submitted as a requisition for approval. The material should be [[underline]] white cardboard [[/underline]], and the ordinary collectors' ticket may be pasted on top and side of each, bearing names and cataloug number of specimen. 

They have been measured to best accommodate the specimens and to fit the trays to the "Salvin Case". All of the measurements are for the inside of the boxes, this should be white as well as the outside, as separate bones are more easily
