Webb Fellowship Program established by the Regents in 1982. (The remaining proceeds from the sale of Belmont, some $1,750,000, are committed toward construction of the Museum Support Center.) Any additional revenues, above present projections, may be needed to cover the costs of software development for the Institution's new payroll/personnel system.

Net income from [[underlined]] Unrestricted Special Purpose Trust Funds [[/underlined]] will exceed budgeted levels due primarily to the success of revenue-producing activities at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, where the success of the "Fabergé" exhibit has contributed to substantial increases in admission fees and shop sales, and at the National Air and Space Museum which has generated additional revenues through an IMAX Film Festival. Expenditures will exceed budget by $1,400,000, in part a result of the additional transfers for fellowship and special programs, and in part the expenditure by bureaus of accumulated discretionary funds.

[[underlined]] Restricted Purpose [[/underlined]] income has continued to reflect higher levels of support than previously expected and is now estimated to exceed $10.3 million. As noted in May, support to the Traveling Exhibition Program for the major exhibition "The Precious Legacy: Judaic Treasures from the Czechoslovak State Collections," and to the Archives of American Art for its collection and research programs has substantially exceeded expectations. Notable support has also been received for the Cooper-Hewitt exhibit "Fabergé: Jeweler to Royalty." The sale of a building and equipment at the Smithsonian Marine Station at Link Port has contributed to the increase in miscellaneous revenues.
