some books for Sabbath School purposes.  I would prefer the _ National Readers and Spellers by Parker & Watson.  I used them in Virginia while employed under the auspices of Prot. Epis, Freedman's Commission, and if you will be good enough to obtain those for me, I will ask for 1 dozen Primers 1/2 dozen Elementary Spellers; in connection with the 1st & 2nd Readers by the same parties.  They are far superior in my opinion to any other works of this ^kind^ in the market.  Furnishing so much Historical and other valuable information.
