States that the colored people of Hendon Hill were much encouraged by their late meeting, and request to have a teacher sent them to open school Sept. 1st.  Requests to be authorized to have made for this school 25 "Soaper's" Desks, which he thinks will cost about $4.00/100 each, &c. &c.

I recommend that we approrpriate $100.00 for repairs of School-House at Hendon Hill, Md..  The land is properly deeded.
