Board is $15 per month  I teach about 6 hours each day  I have a mile & half to walk each way, over very steep hills  And I do not think I shall be able to stand it twice a day.  It is a very uncomfortable building for one ^not^ use to such  the people talk about finishing it soon if they ever will They hold meeting in the school house, keep it very dirty  I have to clean it out before I can begin school
   I wish you would visit this place, to see what a place it is. I think Damascus and here are about the last places for civilize people to go
