I received yours dated 7th and would say that I shall open school at Elkton on Monday 13th) they have a very nice school-house) furnished with patent desks black board maps  the school is graded  studies Geography History Gramer scholar's companion & Arithmetic McGuffey's fourth reader  pupils number 75

Emma Johnson No 1695 Samson St) the teacher that was sent to Mutton-town is without a position & would accept the school at Clear Spring.
