The removal of the collection from the room in the West Basement to the new quarters in the South Tower Smithsonian building, was continued during the month, the installation of the North American lizards being nearly completed.  The contents of each jar before placed on the shelves is thoroughly examined, number of specimens noted, and errors corrected. It has very often been found necessary to reidentify the specimens, which in some cases has amounted to a study and revision of the whole genus.
