Dear Friend
Enclosed please find Rental act. for the Quarter ending 31st ult under the care of the Delaware Association.

Our Schools have not been as largely attended as we hoped owing to the necessity of the scholars remaining at their work. We have opened two schools not reported and expect to have twenty four during this and the [[?]] following months. We are depending mainly on the assistance from the Bureau. I have rated the Normal School at forty dollars per month

Transcription Notes:
"the following months" or "two"?; Note use of Quaker style dates: -- Beth
