Mr W. L. Vanderliss
Supt of Education
Washington D.C.

Dear Sir,

I wrote to you on the 3d inst acknowledging the receipt of check for the amount of $20.00, and also of my having received the books, dear Sir I have the honor to tender to you my resignation of the school at Pisgah Ch. Co. Md, my reason for so doing is that Ever since I have had charge of the school there has been much trouble about money to pay my board, the whole amount that has been received since I have been here is $8.10, and another cause is that some of the trustees being prejudiced against me have accused me of conduct unbecoming a teacher
