Encloses a letter from Upper Marlb'h, P.G. Co., requesting the retention of Miss Martha Douglass.
Thinks it would be well.

Wishes to know if he asked about the sending of blanks & registers, and if so it was unnecessary, as Mr. Core supplied them.

Wishes to know how many schools may be visited from Washington. Will appoint Henry Brown to New Post on Supt. recommendation. Will pay the salary of Mrs. Clark's assistant, and wishes her engaged from Feb. 1st.
