Yours of the 26th is received & we will agree to accept Mr. Chew, Miss Smith & the other two two teachers for Calvert County [[underlined]] conditionally; [[/underlined]] that is, you may send them out now, but let them fully understand that they [[underlined]] may [[/underlined]] be recalled at any time. Of course if the Bureau money is sure, they will be able to remain so long as their Schools are full, but if there is doubt of its being paid, we should be obliged to with draw our support before the end of the term.
