[[preprinted]] Penn'a. Freedmen's Relief Association, No. 207 I STREET, WASHINGTON, D.C. [[/preprinted]] 27th Sept. 1865. Rev. John Kimball, Supt. of Schools, &c Dear Sir - The N.Y. National F.R. Assocn will send here a teacher for a large Infant School - that is, for pupils under 6 years of age. I propose to locate it in one of the large lower rooms at the Hospital Building. I think that some of those small chairs that we looked at will be most comfortable for these pupils. Can they be had - say about 100 of them - ? Yours truly, [[signature]] A.E. Newton.
