Dear Mr Kimball
I am really a school ma'am at last, and have the dearest, nicest little school that ever was seen! 

I was very silly not to ask you some book questions when we were together, but as I did not, I must humble you to tell me what series of Readers, Spellers, Geographies and Arithmatics you approve.

You know I have had no experience in teaching, and I find some of my evening scholars are prepared for something beyond their A.B.Cs-
