Sir,
I wish very much to procure some bookcases. I learned that you had some at the "Bureau," and called twice to see you today, but was disappointed as you had left for home, previous to my second call. I need them very much, one at my School room, Cor of 19th & [J?] sts, and one for the Sabbath School, at the Shiloh Church on L st. Will you give me an order for the same?

"The roof" has been very nicely repaired, be assured your faithfulness in the performance of that work, is fully appreciated. I thank you very much indeed for it, "The lamps" I failed to find, or at least, such as I wanted, I took four, but two
