the removal of the School house from [[Sothern?]] farm to Sandgates last winter or early in the Spring.

The lumber of one School house was used for the raft, which breaking "most of it was lost in the Patuxent River," and in re-erecting, "that part of the raft was used for the purpose which had composed the barrack at [[Sothern?]] Farm" - and was thus Gov't property.

We therefore respectfully ask for a transfer of the Sandgate School-house to our Society as an equivalent for our loss in the winter, which, being granted we may soon complete arrangements for the removal

Hoping the application may meet with thy approval

I am Respectfully
