The pressing nature of my duties will prevent my remaining to attend to starting our work on Capitol Hill -

I will return as soon as I can. Meanwhile Mrs. Bigelew & Miss Harris will bring their practical good sense to the work and I doubt not succede in the undertaking.

They will rely upon you for such quarters as may be necessary & be glad of the carpenters’ help when you can send them -
