1627 Lombard St. Phila Pa

2-10 mo./67.

Rev. J. Kimball;—

Yours rec^d.

I wrote the S. M. A. sometime since asking to be returned to A. H. Their reply was "that ^[[it]] is doubtful whether we shall undertake any work there."

The people at A. petitioned to the Assc. for me but no reply has been rec'^d.

Thank you very kindly for your offer to secure me a school in Maryland, but I think if I cannot procure a position at Arlington St. that I shall go accept one in Tennessee.

I so much enjoyed my work at A. that it had become a part a pet cause of mine
