Uniontown D.C. Nov. 25th 1867

Rev. John Kimball

Dear Sir
Your note [?] 21 inst is rec'd.

I concur with you in the opinion that it would be better for me to remain in charge of this group of schools, provided arrangements can be made to supply the settlers on the Berry Farm. I am however willing to occupy any position where in the opinion of the Commissioners I can offer the more efficient service.

I have already referred the matter to Dr. Gooding, requesting him to communicate with you.

Very Truly
