Mr Kimball

I learn from Mr. Newton that your judgment of my ability as a teacher is unfavorable. I expected more leniency in view of the circumstances of my school. It was in a much higher state two months before, when something like twenty that I had bestowed much labor upon were lent to the next grade. As I told you, very few of the original pupils remained through the term.(three I think) If I had had time I should have reduced them to industry and order.

I would prefer going on these schools again, confident in my own powers.

Respectfully
