Reports that he has visited Beltsville, Muir Kir and Laurel.- That he finds the freedmen at work at good wages.- That at Beltsville there is no school, although the people are very desirous of having one, there is a colored family living just out of the town who are willing to give a lot large enough to build a school on. - That at Muir Kirk there is a school, in which two sessions a day are held one for white, and one for colored children. Number of colored children in attendance 13.
