to go to Lancaster for the present school year until the house at Laurel {{best guess]] shall be ready, if she can be paid a moderate salary. She is an old pupil of mine, as well as the most of the col.d teachers now employed in the city, and I know is quite as competent a teacher. The people of Lancaster would furnish board, a salary of $20. or $25. would satisfy her. Will you tell me to whom to apply for her and will you give me a word of endorsement ^[[addressed]] to that office?

Respectfully & gratefully
