I have the honor to state that I can get land and that the colored people will no doubt be able to put up a school house on it at this place  Lumber &c being furnished.

I would respectfully request you to furnish me a plan for the building size &c  I think there are scholars enough for two schools and think it would be well to build two rooms  I think there are spare window frames and sash at Freedmans Village.  There is some old lumber here (scantling &c) for which  they ask $22 per M.
