be best obtained.  I shall secure the ground and raise the necessary funds to creat the building as soon as possible so as to have ample time to complete it for the fall term.

I found the buildings in St. Josephs Forrest were very open and will need plastering before another winter.  Desks and seats are badly arranged, &c.

Please send me blanks for monthly reports both Teachers & Supts.

Mrs. Baker sent a lot of Books for Miss. Woolman from New York by Adams Express ^[six weeks ago] directed to Capt Gates at this place which has not been heard from.  The books are very much needed.  Please enquire after them and if you find them have them sent on by Steamer Express.
