friends, who may chance to inquire for me. I had a pleast trip down the river & journey home; I remained in N. Y. City a few days, with Maj. Nathan's mother, & met our mutual friend Mrs. Disbrow from whom I learned that Mrs. Kimball had gone down to Norfolk with you. I can but hope the change of air & scene were favorable to her health & spirits.

If you reply, please direct to this place, & also state at what time I ought to be in Washtn & if Transportation will be afforded to that point.

How much I think of [[underline]] that Sab. Sch. [[/underline]] as the weeks roll by - & how much I should enjoy falling into my old place as each Sab. comes.
