The type specimen of [[underlined]]Typhlotriton spelaeus[[/underlined]],  the blind cave salamander presented by Mr. F.A. Sampson,  of Sedalia, Mo., has already been mentioned, but I may add that we are indebted to Mr. Geo. E. Harris, of Cassville, Mo., for numerous larvae of the same interesting species.
