CONSTRUCTION. Excavation and instillation of tiebacks in the southeast building corner where the earth truck ramp was located is now complete. Placement of the working mud slab and fiberglass water-proofing is about 50% complete, and installation of reinforcing steel for the remaining two mat foundation concrete placements has started. This work is planned to be complete by mid-January.

Concurrently, concrete placement of the second floor deck has been completed except for the southeast corner. Also, the first floor concrete deck has been started in the southwest building corner and now extends over 35% of the building site. Structural components, columns and beams, of the kiosk entrance are nearly complete, and placement of stairs and intervening floor levels will be started in January. The General Services Administration indicates the contractor anticipates that all structural concrete will be in place by the end of February.

The cash flow indicates the project is approximately 25.5% com-plete. Concrete work anticipated in January and February is expected to raise this figure significantly.
