Responsible for review and formulation of the President's annual budget and legislative program for the District of Columbia Government, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, U.S. Civil Service Commission, Cost of Living Council, Pay Board and Price Commission, American Revolution Bicentennial Administration, National Gallery of Art, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and the Smithsonian Institution; program analysis and special projects related to the above.

Presently serving as Acting Assistant Secretary.
