WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST

PHYLICIA RASHAD (Peggy Clark) has appeared on Broadway  in Jelly's Last Jam, Into the Woods, Dreamgirls, The Wiz, Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural Death. Off-Broadway: Everybody's Ruby, The Vagina Monologues. Regional: Blues for an Alabama Sky, Medea. Rashad is known for her performances in "The Cosby Show" and "Cosby." Film credits include Once Upon a Time When We Were Colored, The Visit, Loving Jezebel, Free of Eden. For PBS, "The Old Settler" in which she co-starred and co-executive produced with her sister, Debbie Allen.

HILL HARPER (Adult Reuben Clark) Off-Broadway 2001: Dogeaters (The Public). Other Stage credits include Your Handsome, Captain, The Toilet, Full Cycle, The Meeting and The Colored Museum. HOWARD W. OVERSHOWN (Samuel Clark, III) is excited to make his Roundabout Theatre Co. debut in Blue. JEWELL ROBINSON (Tillie Clark) reprise her role in the Roundabout production of Blue, having appeared in its world premiere at Arena Stage (Helen Hayes Award). Other regional theatre credits include Washington Stage Guild, African Theatre Continuum, Gala Hispanic Theatre, John F. Kennedy Center, Olney Theatre Center, Round House, Studio and Woolly Mammoth theaters. Awards: Mary Goldwater Award and three Helen Hayes nominations.

RANDALL SHEPPERD (Samuel Clark, Jr.) is honored to be appearing in the New York debut of Blue. Most recently, Randall was seen in the world premiere of Blue at Arena Stage in D.C., and the Water production of Waiting for Lefty at the Tribeca Playhouse in NYC. He dedicates his performance to D, A, Z, L & Max.

MESSERET STROMAN (LaTonya Dinkins). New York theatre: Insurrection: Holding History, The Point, Wounds to the Face, Flycatcher's Identity. Regional: originated the role of LaTonya Dinkins in Blue at Arena Stage, Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Film and TV: "The Kitchen" for PBS, "Another World" (NBC) and "Rebound" (HBO).
