He appeared regionally in Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, an of La Mancha, Salome, A Raisin in the Sun and Purlie. His film credits include Blue Collar and Heritage.

DAVID THOMé (Frank) began his professional creer in the chorus of the Music Man at Sacramento's Music Circus. he has been seen on Broadway in No, No, Nanette; Different Times; Good News; Rodgers & Hart and as Don Kerr and Zach in A Chorus Line. He has played the national company of A Chorus Line as well. He is a Deacon of the West End Presbyterian Church of Manhattan.

MICHAEL BENNETT (Producer/Director/Choreographer) has choreographed Promises, Promises; Coco; Company; Follies (which he co-directed with Hal Prince" and Seesaw (which he also wrote and directed). In 1973 he made his debut as a dramatic director with Twigs, which starred Sada Thompson. A chorus Line,, which he conceived, choreographed and directed, won nine Tony Awards. In 1976 he and the other authors of A Chorus Line were awarded the Pulitzer Prize for drama. In 1979 he produced, directed and choreographed Ballroom, which was nominated for eight Tony Awards and won Mr. Bennett his sixth Tony Award.

TOM EYEN (Book and Lyrics) began writing and directing at La Mama E.T.C. and the Caffe Cino. Among his plays areThe White Whore and the Bit Player (1964), Why Hanna's Skirt Won't Stay Down (1965), Court (1966), Sarah B. Divine (1967), the Dirtiest Show in Town (1970), women Behind Bars (1974) and the Neon Woman (1978). For television Mr. Eyen wrote The Emmy Award-winning "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" (1976-1977), and The Bette Midler NBC Special (1977), which also won the Emmy. In 1980 he wrote and directed "The Dirtiest Show in Town" as the first video movie produced exclusively for cable television's Showtime. Mr. Eyen is the recipient of a Rockefeller Foundation Grant and a Guggenheim Fellowship Award. Dreamgirls marks Tom's Broadway debut. 

HENRY KRIEGER (Music) began playing piano at age seven, when his family bought one for Christmas. Performing came naturally to him and before deciding to compose full time, he performed in nightclubs in New York and out of town with his group the original Cakewalk. Since then he has composed for numerous off-Broadway and Off Off-Broadway productions, as well as films for television. Mr. Krieger began working with Mr. Eyen in 1975 and Dreamgirls is  continuation of that collaboration.

MICHAEL PETERS (Co-choreographer) was born in New York and is currently based in California. He recently choreographed the Broadway musicical Comin' Uptown, the L.A. Shakespeare Festival's A Midsummer Night's Dream and the German tours of Jesus Christ Superstar. He staged the cabaret acts of stars Debbie Reynolds, Donna Summer, Conniee Stevens, Ben Vereen and Lola Falana. His television credits include the film "Scott Joplin - King of Ragtime," and "Soul," starring his own Michael Peters Dance Company. He was a featured dancer in Broadway's the Wiz, Raisin, Purlie, billy and Me and Bessie at the Mark Taper Forum in L.A. He wishes to thank his mother for her continual support. 

ROBIN WAGNER (Scenic Designer) has designed the sets for 52nd Street; A Chorus Line; On the twentieth Century; Ballroom; Mack & Mable; Seesaw; Sugar; Jesus Christ Superstar; The Great White Hope; Inner city; Promises, Promises; Lenny and Hair. He has designed for the Vienna State Opera, the Hamburg State Opera, the American Ballet Theatre, the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and the American Shakespeare Festivial, in Stratford, Connecticut. His many awards include the Tony, the Drama Desk, Drama Critics' Circle and Maharam. 

THEONI V. ALDREDGE (Costume Designer) has designed more than 130 Broadway shows and numerous Off-Broadway productins. For her work in the theatre she has received Tony awards for Annie and Barnum and varied Drama Desk, Vareity Drama Critics and Maharam Awards.
