OLIVER SMITH (Settings) has made notable contributions to theatre, films, ballet and opera. He designed the settings for such plays as Nigh of the Iguana, Becket, Dylan and Time Remembered, as well as the musicals West Side Story, Camelot, Hello, Dolly! and My Fair Lady. Mr. Smith is also the co-director of the American Ballet Theatre, for which he designed the scenic productions of Les Noces, Fall River Legend and Swan Lake. He has been a member of the National Arts Council since 1965. As co-producer, he presented On the Town, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, No Exit and Stephen D. He co-produced and designed the settings for Arthur Kopit's Indians and, earlier this season, was scenic designer and associate producer for the Kennedy Center's presentation of Leonard Bernstein's Mass, and scenic designer for The Time of Your Life. Mr. Smith teaches master classes in scenic design at N.Y.U. He and Lyn Austin are producing the Lenox (Mass.) Arts Festival which begins its second season July 1 celebrating Virgil Thomson's 70th birthday with a production of his The Mother of Us All.

[[line]]PATRICIA QUINN STUART (Costumes) has designed costumes on Broadway for The Me Nobody Knows, The Cuban Thing, and A Cry of Players at Lincoln Center. She has worked on two recent films, The Landlord and Angel Levine. Off-Broadway credits include In White America, Cindy, The Burning, Cages, the operas Block Celebration, Medea, and Dido and Aeneas, and most recently, Love Me, Love My Children. She has also received an Emmy for her contribution to the recent Anne Bancroft television special. She has been associated with Mr. Frankel on seven previous productions.

PAUL SULLIVAN (Lighting) designed the lighting for Leonard Sillman's New Faces of 1968 on Broadway, A Gun Play, The Nature of the Crime, The Memory Bank and The American Hamburger League Off-Broadway, The Fantasticks at Ford's Theatre, Peter Gennaro's Vibration for the Pennsylvania Ballet Company, The Paper Pavilion at Expo '67, The Henry Street Playhouse, numerous Marlene Dietrich tours and concerts, and has become known as one of the country's foremost industrial show lighting designers. Most recently he designed the lighting for the Plumstead Playhouse production of The Time of Your Life at the Kennedy Center.

KAREN GUSTAFSON (Musical Director) was the first women to conduct a Broadway musical when she stepped onto the podium of Destry Rides Again midway in its run.
