I had great trouble in getting my wheat crop sowed, the hands would'ent work and frequently would disobey my orders when working, I had to employ two white men to help save my crop and get my wheat crop sowed, I had a very small wheat crop sowed not exceeding 130 acres I aught to have sowed at least 300 acres in wheat,

There was no corn sold that I knew of  I sold none. I delivered twenty bushels of corn that Doc Holt sold, there was from twenty-five hundred to thirty-five hundred of corn raised, there might of been a great deal more and there might be a great deal less. One thousand and seven bushel of wheat very ruff cleaned runned through the fan once, going through the fan once takes out a great portion of the chaff.
