John Lewis is a freedman of Dr Holts is about fourteen years old worked on the farm part of the time and went to town and worked as a house servant for Dr Holt for the remainder of the year. the two last are brothers and orphans. 

[[underlined]] Landen [[/underlined]] is a freedman of Dr Holt is about fifty four years old, worked as field hand from May 1st until Christmas loosing about three or four weeks, he had no family on the place

Lizzy is one of Dr Holts freedwoman is about eighteen years old, she worked as a field hand from May 1 until Christmas, lost no time that I remember, she had one child only about a year old.

In giving the ages of all the foregoing negroes I ^[[insertion]] have [[/insertion]] given a guess about it as near as I could, without pretending to be perfectly right, In the estimate of absense of hands from work I gave the time as neigh I as I could remember.
