My dear Mr. Adler:

Thank you so much for your lines of March 28th.  Immediately, we started looking for the plates which were used in our Juan Gris catalogs. Unfortunately, we do not have them any more and it is a great disappointment to me to have to write that to you.  I would have been so glad should we have been able to be of help to you.

I am very much looking forward to the great pleasure of seeing you again when you come to New York and for that reason I send you doubly my wishes for the prompt recovery of your children from the chickenpox.  I hope this will not deprive Mrs. Adler and yourself from making the trip.
