RML/D January 20th, 1936. Dear John: I am also awfully sorry that we have had such tough luck getting together. I will try to see if I can't fix up something in the near future. On the other hand, I do wish that you could try to stop off in New York sometime, long enough for lunch, tea or dinner with us. I have never heard from you regarding the Napoleon letters. Could you let me know the outcome, and if you or the University are not interested in them, I would appreciate your re-turning the data to me. Looking forward to seeing you soon, as ever, Yours faithfully, Prof. John M.S. Allison, 603 Berkeley College, New Haven, Conn.
