The yearly subscription is three dollars for the art and literary, respectively. Announcement R. MILTION MITCHILL, JR., has resigned as President of the American Art Association-Anderson Galleries to seek a long desired rest from his arduous duties. Hiram H. Parke, formerly Vice-President of the organization, has been elected to succeed him. No other change of personnel occurs in the organization. Otto Bernet, whose term of office as Vice President has been coincident with that of Mr. Parke, remains Vice President. Cortlandt F. Bishop retains the ownership of the organization, which has been his since 1923. MR. MITCHILL was President of the merged American Art Association and Anderson Galleries since the incorporation in 1929 of the two auction houses as one organization. Previously an executive of the Anderson Galleries, Mr. Mitchill has for many years been identified with auction sales of high class works of art and rare books. [[double lines]] Notes on March Sales MANUSCRIPTS of many of the most famous compositions by the late Ethelbert Nevin lend an unusual note to the sale of books on March 15. Included are the five numbers of the Water Scenes, including Narcissus, one of the most popular American compositions ever written and the one that made famous the name of Nevin.
