The American Federation of Arts,
910 - 17th Street, N. W.,
Washington, D.C.

Dear Sirs:

We have received your letter of February 24th and thank you for calling our attention to the matter of the subscription paid by us for one copy of your American Art Annual.

The gentleman who attended to this is at present in Florida, and we shall submit your letter to him on his return. We think, however, that it was really by mistake that he subscribed, having perhaps no knowledge that one volume would be delivered in consideration of the ad.

We shall ask him to write to you in this respect.

Very truly yours,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.,
